American Icon Autographs announced WWE Hall of Famer Sunny and the Honky Tonk Man as their first two vendor guests in Toronto. They will certainly have more to announce in the future.

We do want to use this thread as a way to obtain feedback, so feel free to share what you liked and what you didn’t with the weekend so we can improve moving forward.

A few things to address:

We don’t know if we’re returning to LA in 2013 at this point. We had a one year contract with this hotel, so right now we do not have a hotel or a return date.  

Now the biggie for us, the Westin Hotel. While we loved the layout of the Westin (centrally located bar to create a “community” for everybody to hang out in their down time,  large ballroom, movie theater), their staffing was absolutely horrendous and it made our jobs five times as hard this weekend. They screwed up pretty much every reservation, were late on delivery of just about everything we needed, we didn’t think the breakfast  was up to hotel standards in either quality or service, and generally were unresponsive and/or antagonistic to our needs.  While we hated the actual convention space at the Hilton, their support team is amazing.

Regardless of the hotel situation, we were dissapointed with the attendance this year, we definitely didn’t take a step forward from last year on that front and that was pretty discouraging to us given all the extra talent featured this year than in years past.   We may try the conventions on a more rotational basis to be inclusive of more cities.  We may wait until after Toronto to make a decision on LA. There are other cities we’d love to bring this convention to, but hosting it more than 3 times/year is just not feasible, so we need to decide where to spread the love around in 2013.

Again, thank you to everybody that attended this year and we appreciate your understanding on things that didn’t go exactly as planned.
